Author’s Notes Concerning
Dragon Ball Generations

When I first started writing DBG, it was originally called AGT (After GT). It was already 36 chapters long before I removed the story and began anew with it. The new version was renamed Generations, and with this version I had added new a new twist to the original plot.
DBG started out as a believable way to get Trunks and Pan together and to bring Goku back. That was what I set out to do, that is what I did. Thanks to Malice, a villain I created, who traveled back in time from GT’s future, Trunks and Pan had a definite shot at getting together, and Piccolo had reason to go and search for Goku.
Many people begged me to put Goten with Bra. I declined. Why, you may wonder? Well, I’ll explain. I hate the Goten/Bra coupling. I just don’t see it happening. I can Goten/Marron, but not Goten/Bra. The main reason I killed Paresu off in the beginning was so I could place Goten with Marron, but at the last moment I decided to bring Paresu back.
Why Uubu/Bra? Mainly for the sheer reason that hardly nobody likes the couple. Many people read this fic mainly because it was a Trunks/Pan. I figured that if I could write a Trunks/Pan without the typical pairings; Goten/Bra, Uubu/Marron, I would be set. And I have done that. I’ve been told by many people that they have become T/P’s fans when they once where T/M’s and U/B’s when they were G/B’s.
Since I began writing DBG, many of my thoughts were on what I could have done to make it better. Now I’m going to share a few of those thoughts. If I could change anything that I wrote about DBG, it would be the following
1. I would not have brought Bardock/Celeria/Radittsu back. Meaning so, there would be no Lana, Korn or Luipt. It’s troublesome trying to remember everything about each character I wrote about.
2. Bra would not have gotten raped. Assaulted, most defiantly, but not raped. Over the months, I have grown distaste for fics that have a character rapped. Maybe one day when I write the updated version of DBG, I will omit that knowledge from DBG.
3. I don’t think I would have included the Frost Saga. The only reason I wrote that saga was to put some action after Trunks and Pan’s wedding so it wouldn’t have been a dull saga. Also I wanted to explain a few things concerning Furiza’s old empire. I’m sure that after King Cold and Furiza never returned to Furizasei/Icesei, someone had to take control.
I would like to thank all of you that read my story from the beginning and all those who just started reading it. I believe that I have become a better writer from receiving criticism both good and bad. I would also like to thanks the following people for their constant share of idea’s of DBG to make it better (despite the fact that I didn’t use hardly anybody else’s idea’s)
Ben; you know who you are. Don’t know if your still reading the story, but’ca helped me out a lot when it came to my grammar.
Safire Griffin; he’s the first person to use Medon’s name for an email address. That’s dedication folks.

And all of the other Trunks/Pan fanfic writer’s out there! If you guy’s and gal’s fics didn’t make me a T/P fan, there would be no DBG today.
But most of all, Akira Toriyama, for giving us these characters that we all grown to love.
