Chapter 10

The following morning everyone was sort of gloomy for they all knew that this was the last time that they will see their deceased family and friends again until they too pass on to the next life. However, they did enjoy breakfast and the remaining time they had left together until the deceased Son’s and Briefs return to the Lookout to be transported to the Other Realm.

When noon finally came, they all prepared to say their goodbyes and gave Trunks and Pan their blessings. Rice walks up to her parents and hugs them both. I will miss you both very much. I am happy to have met you father,” she chokes.

“I am happy that I finally got to met you as well,” Trunks replies giving her a strong hug. “Don’t worry about Gokuu, Pan and I will raise him as if he was our own son.”

“Maybe not,” Goku speaks up. “In fact, Rice will be able to continue to raise him.”

Everyone aside from Gohan, Chichi and Videl looked shocked at Goku’s response.

“What do you mean great-great grandpa,” Gokuu asks as he walks up to his mother and holds her hand.

Goku smiles. “Well, I figured that it would be for the best that if I exchange lives with your mother. In other words, I’ll take her place in heaven while she can continue on with her life on Earth.”

Everyone breaks out in an excited talk. Goku stands back and smiles as he watches Rice pick up her son and hugs him tightly. Pan breaks out into a big grin and latches herself onto Trunks, who is also grinning like an idiot. Goku chuckles as he turns to face his wife.

“See? I told you that they would like my idea.”

“That you did Goku.” Chichi smiles.

“Wait a second,” Vegeta interrupts. “You mean that you had all of this planned out?”

“Not really,” Goku replies with a shrug. “My original idea was just to bring Trunks and Pan together. After I brought you all back for the day, I began thinking that it wouldn’t be fair to Gokuu or Trunks. Gokuu never really got the chance to really know his mother and Trunks would have only known his daughter for a day.”

Vegeta smirks. “Thinking you have. I see that you have been trying something new.”

“Well, being merged with the Dragon Balls for 100 years can make a person read other people better.” Goku responds. “Besides, now I can make up for all the lost time I wasted on Earth training instead of being with Chichi. And I want to look up my family I never met before. My mother and father.”

“Even uncle Radittsu,” Gohan asks with a frown.

“Even your uncle,” Goku replies. “Sure we didn’t meet in the best of circumstances, but I figure that he has changed.”

“Don’t think that means that you are getting off that easy Kakarotto,” Vegeta reels. “I still haven’t defeated you yet. On the Daio Kaio’s planet, we will spar until I defeat you.”

Goku chuckles. “After all these years you are still hung up about that? Geez, Vegeta you sure know how to hold a grudge.”

Vegeta blushes and everyone else laughs. Goku turns and looks over at Juuchai-gou. “I figured that you wish to continue raising Krillin until he is an adult. Once that is over, you can go to the Lookout and have Dende teleport you to the Daio Kaio’s planet where you can give your life to North Kai. I’m pretty sure that he will be grateful to be alive again.”

Juuchai-gou nods. “That sounds good. I miss my Kuririn and Marron very much.”

Goku walks over to Rice and places an hand on her shoulder. The two begin glowing with a golden glow. Once the glow disappears the halo over Rice’s head disappears. Goku’s eyes roll back into his head and he drops down to the ground dead.

Everyone aside from Dende gasps. A few seconds later a halo appears over Goku’s head and he raises from the ground. “Well, that didn’t hurt any.”

Dende thumps his staff on a rock to gain everyone’s attention. “Now that is done, I must suggest we get going. Enma Dao will not be pleased if I don’t return you all as soon as possible.”

Goku shakes Trunks hand and gives Pan a big hug. He ruffles Gokuu and Vegita’s hair as he walks up to the group that has gathered around Dende. Chichi, Goten, Gohan, Videl, Bulma and Bra call out their farewells to their loved ones as their bodies begin to fade. Goku begins waving his hands fanatically. Vegeta looks over at Trunks and gives him the peace sign.

Trunks smiles and returns the gesture. Pan wraps her arms around her mate, and sighs as they watch Dende disappear with their loved ones. The only ones left remaining are Trunks, Pan, Rice, Gokuu, Bikini, Vegita, Kamesennin, Juuchai-gou and Krillin. Rice and Gokuu walk over and begin chatting with Bikini and Vegita. Vegita had a change of heart toward his cousin Gokuu and the two fly off to go spar.

“Hey wanna join us,” Vegita asks down to Krillin.

The tan colored boy smiles as he lifts up in the air. “Sure!”

“Hey fella’s wait for me,” Kamesennin yells. Krillin sweeps down and picks the elderly man up and follows behind Gokuu and Vegita.

Bikini, Rice and Juuchai-gou head into the house to get to know each other better. Trunks and Pan remain outside watching the four fly away. Pan looks up at Trunks and smiles.

“Well, now that we are alone for the first time together in over 90 years and have our younger bodies back, what do you want to do,” Pan asks very seductively.

“I know of a few things,” Trunks responds as he leans over and passionately kisses his mate. “It involves you, me and a bed.”

“Sleeping,” Pan teases.

“Afterwards,” Trunks responds as he picks Pan up and heads toward her bedroom inside her house. For the first time in over 90 years the two are complete. Their love tore the two families apart only to bring them back together.

The End.

Well, that's the end of "After GT: A Trunks and Pan tale". In my original version, this story was only three parts and was quite long. And another AGT history, my original version was my first fanfic ever! But this version is indeed better. I hope that you guys and gals enjoyed this remake. I enjoyed writing this fic, but I must continue and finish Dragon Ball Generations.
